WSACA Tools

Free tools, built once and shared across all 39 counties.

A growing collection of open-source tools developed by the Washington State Association of County Assessors. Modern infrastructure should be a shared resource — not something every county office has to build independently.

About

Washington's property tax exemption program for senior citizens and people with disabilities expanded substantially in tax year 2027 under Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 6162. New thresholds. New deductions. A consolidated state school levy. Larger benefits at every qualification level.

WSACA built this screening tool so that any of Washington's 39 county assessor offices can hand a homeowner a clear, county-specific answer to the question: do I qualify, and what would I save? No login, no data collection, no installation. Just a tool that runs in any browser and points the applicant toward their local county assessor for the official determination.

The screening tool is the first WSACA tool — more will follow. Property tax appeal flowcharts. Deferral program estimators. Whatever the assessor community needs and decides to build together. All free, all open source, all here.
